FAQ's

Ingredients:

All breads are made with Unbleached Bread, Whole Wheat Flours, Pink Himalayan Salt and Filtered Water.  Specialty loaves are made with fresh ingredients from the local farmers market, high end cheeses, and raw, unrefined sugar. 

Storage:

Each loaf is made fresh to order and will last about 3-5 days in a sealed bag on the counter, then an additional 2-3 days in the fridge.  If not gobbled up by then, you can slice and freeze the remainder.  You could also slice and freeze half right away, if you know you won't eat it all within a week. When ready to eat, either leave it at room temperature to defrost or pop it right in the toaster and it's about as good as fresh! 

How to order and pick up: 

Place your order via SunflourKitchen.com or contact Laura via email, text or DM with the following:

Name, Phone, Type of Loaf, Quantity of Each, and Date of Desired pick up. 

Once orders are placed, please allow 36-48 hours for us to prepare and bake your items.  We will then reach out via text to schedule a time and pick up location in Winter Garden, preferably the Jessie Brock Community Center near downtown WG. If having shipped, you will receive a confirmation email. 

*Due to shipping schedules and delivering the freshest bread, there is no shipping on Sat & Sun*

Why Sourdough?

Sourdough has many health benefits due to the simplicity of the ingredients... Flour, Water and Salt. The Lactic Acid Bacteria from the starter and the long, cold-proof process I use makes for a more digestible bread with a lower glycemic index, therefore making it easier on even gluten sensitive tummies.  This naturally leavened bread provides healthy bacteria and a clean taste that simply can't compare with mass produced bread!  This bread toasts up beautifully, with a nice crunch and soft crumb.  It is great for endless toast options, grilled sandwiches, dips and Olive Oils. It also makes a great gift!

A note on my Cottage Kitchen:

We operate under the FL Cottage Food Law, which allows us to sell and ship baked goods from a home kitchen.  Hygiene, cleanliness and quality of fresh ingredients are of top priority to us here at Sunflour Kitchen. If you are ever dissatisfied with a product, please do not hesitate to reach out!
